Belinda & Terry purchased the Scenic Motel August of 2008, and we are constantly striving to make this one of the best place to stay in Townsend, Tn. right in the heart of The Great Smoky Mountains!  
We have added a large deck out across the front of property with plenty of outdoor furniture with a 4' firepit right in the middle of deck. Everyone just loves roasting hotdogs, marshmellows & making smores. Young and old just love it. You get the feel of camping but with the comfort of a comfortable bed to rest in.

Pool
A large private pool that is open late so when you get back to your room a relaxing pool will make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. The Pool area is connected by a large deck for relaxing or grilling outdoors or to just enjoy the evening campfire.

Things To Do
Our Scenic Motel is located only 1 mile from the entrance to the National Park. We are aprox. 8 miles from Cades Cove. Horseback riding is right next door. Tubing the river locations are right across the street. Caverns are about 4 miles from here. Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg are within 18 miles full of daily performances, Dollywood, and much, much more. Hiking trails, waterfalls, mountain views, rivers, trout fishing and the list is endless, all right in in Townsend, Tn.
